Breathe.
Unwind.

Chaparral captures the softened heat of the Los Angeles hills — aromatic, green, and quietly floral. Inspired by the dry slopes of Southern California, it reflects the moment when sun has settled into the leaves and the air turns warm, herbal, and still. Chaparral after the heat has softened: green, aromatic, floral at the edges, grounded by the quiet warmth of the land.

Initial profile:Eucalyptus Leaf, Wild Mint, Citron Leaf.
Mid notes:Olive Leaf, Basil Stem, Magnolia Petal.
Finishing:Peony Veil, Ylang Ylang, Sun-Warmed Brush.
Chaparral concrete vessel
Lithic Integrity

The form is the product.

Hand-cast from high-density concrete, stabilised and minimally sealed. A geometric monolith engineered to remain in the space long after the core has been spent — the vessel is not a container for the product; it is the product.

Description+
A cool green opening of eucalyptus leaf, wild mint, and citron leaf moves through the scent like hillside air. As it burns, olive leaf and basil stem deepen the herbal character, while magnolia petal softens the center with pale floral warmth. Peony veil, ylang ylang, and sun-warmed brush settle into a warm powdery green finish.
Olfactory Architecture+
Chaparral opens with a cool green breath. Eucalyptus leaf rises first, softened by wild mint and the quiet brightness of citron leaf — fresh and aromatic, but not sharp, like hillside air moving through dense green brush after the sun has warmed the leaves.

As the candle burns, the scent becomes fuller and more herbal. Olive leaf and basil stem bring a silvery green texture, while magnolia petal softens the composition with pale floral warmth. The greenery feels alive, but controlled — less garden, more landscape.

The base settles into a warm powdery green finish. Peony veil and ylang ylang give a softened floral edge, while sun-warmed brush holds it close to the land.

The Repurposing Ritual

The candle ends; the object stays.

Once the wax completes its cycle, clean the vessel with warm water and keep it — a planter, a vessel, an object kept. Nothing here is disposable.
