The severe elegance of silent concrete meets quiet, meditative devotion. Inspired by Japanese minimalist architecture, Monolith explores the tension between dark shadows and brilliant slashes of light. A sheer trace of lychee skin catches the brightness of that light, while black violet and pale woods settle into the shadowed concrete with quiet depth.

Made with an apricot, coconut, and soy wax blend for a clean, even burn and a medium–strong fragrance throw.

Our candles are paraffin-free and made without phthalates, sulfates, or parabens. Each fragrance is crafted with a considered blend of essential oils and high-quality synthetic fragrance components to create a balanced, lasting scent experience.

Finished with a 100% cotton wick for a steady, consistent burn.

To preserve the vessel, fragrance, and burn quality, trim the cotton wick to ¼ inch before each lighting. On the first burn, allow the wax to melt fully to the edges of the vessel, creating an even melt pool and helping prevent tunneling. Burn for 3–4 hours at a time and keep the candle on a stable, heat-safe surface away from drafts or flammable materials. With proper care, each Terraeum candle offers approximately 55–60 hours of burn time.

Discontinue use once the remaining wax reaches the base of the embossed “T” on the vessel, or when approximately ½ inch of wax remains.

I’d keep both the branded cue and the standard measurement. The “T” marker makes it feel custom to Terraeum, while the ½ inch gives customers a clear safety reference.

Monolith opens with a cool mineral clarity, like air moving through a stone room before morning light reaches the floor. Lychee skin gives the first impression a sheer, translucent lift, softened by the shadowed floral tone of black violet. As the candle burns, the composition settles into its central structure: violet leaf, shaved hinoki, and white sandalwood. The floral character becomes quieter and more textural, held against clean wood grain and the calm weight of unfinished concrete. The base is warm, low, and grounded. Aged cedarwood, saffron resin, and dark patchouli create a softened architectural depth — polished, intimate, and still. The result is a floral-wood scent shaped by mineral air, restrained fruit, and the quiet permanence of stone.
